God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.

Gas, Oil, Bio, Hydro… AIR?

I saw this on [GAS]

Yep, air.  Everybody is trying to find a more economical, environmental, efficient way to get from here to there.  Well, a guy in France, yeah France, has been working for the last 14 years on a car powered by Compressed Air Technology (CAT).

This air powered car can travel at speeds up to 60 mph and has a range of 120 miles on a full supply of air.

Sound Good?

Well, unfortunately, the prototypes that have been created don’t quite live up to the claims.  However, maybe with some heavy financial backing, we could see these on the road.

It has some very compelling advantages over the current alternative fuel offerings.  The only thing that comes out of the tailpipe is cold air.  One of the huge hurdles that alternative fuels face is distribution.  Have you ever seen a gas station that didn’t have an air compressor hose sticking out of the side?  Ok, maybe in the "big" city, but where I come from they are very common.

This is one technology that I hope gets some large corporate support because… I want one!
