Math The Right Way With Mathway
Ive been helping my 6th grade son with his math homework this year. Either myself or my daughter checks it when he is done and then he makes the corrections. Ok, I wasnt horrible in math but I was no wiz-kid. So, now towards the end of the school year things are starting to get a little hairy with the fractions, exponents, areas & circumferences. Well, I came across a website that may just be able to help to not only get the right answer but to also explain how you got it. Its called Mathway.
Science Fair Ideas
Every year we seem to go through the pain of helping with a science fair project. Ok, so far weve only had one child that has had to do a project but we have 5 more kids that will be moving up the ranks in school and will be required to do one. So, instead of getting frustrated with trying to find a project, I think we will be using Science Buddies.
They have over 800 project ideas and many have step-by-step instructions.

Why Geeks Were Excited About The Super Bowl
Ok, Im not what you would call your typical geek I like sports. I love basketball, but I did enjoy yesterdays super bowl. It was a chance for me and the boys to sit down and cringe at the hard hits and give our arm-chair quarterback advice on what the professionals should have done.
