Can you believe this. An article in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch describes a phenomenal new approach used by the Halls Ferry Elementary School in Florissant to provide students with a safe, orderly environment: RULES.
This seems like Parenting 101 to me. However, I suppose with all the self-esteem initiatives in schools the idea about using rules/consequences to guide student behavior may have gotten lost.
