I really find this stuff interesting.

According to this graph, even a computer that uses “standby” mode can cost you an extra $34 per year.  Now, realistically, if it was just that one device, I wouldn’t think much of it.  But look at that. 

If you had one of everything on the graph, you are spending about $280 extra per year.  For us, that’s 2.5 months of electricity bills.
